You can prepare with gear, and you can prepare by studying
mechanics. But you can also prepare for player attitudes. Players
who want to rush needn't stress you if you're mentally prepared
for their whinging and shenanigans.

This is why some tanks adopt a supercilous sneer, but you don't
need to go quite that far. Maybe macro a few humorour quotes.

/macro say "I'm giving 'er everything I got, cap'n."
/macro say "Tanking dungeons isn't like dusting crops, boy!"
