Beyond enjoyment, I play the role I find myself good at. I've tried healing
on my priest a few times, and I did okay at it. But I wasn't GOOD at it,
cause I'm just not mentally suited to be having to be aware of everyone
else's health as well as the environment. I can focus on the environment and
avoiding things I need to avoid, but when I'm having to pay attention to
that as well as seeing when everyone ELSE isn't avoiding what they're
avoiding, and watching for things that need to be cleansed/dispelled, making
sure everyone is in range for me TO heal them, etc, I end up losing focus on
what's going on and try to do too many things at once.

So which would you rather have in your group, a real healer who does it by
choice rather than necessity and a GOOD dps who does strong damage, knows
positioning, and makes sure to avoid bad stuff, or a healer who's not really
comfortable doing it and loses focus on what's going on in fights plus some
other DPS who may or may not have a clue about anything other than how to
make his epeen grow on Recount?

I'm not a fan of the solution to the problem, but seeing as how I can't
imagine anything that's not worse, I'll live with it.
