Sounds to me like he was just trying to deflect the blame away from
himself. It's always easy to blame the healer, isn't it?

I had three level 80s, all healers, in Wrath. I just got the last of
them, my Druid, to 85 on Saturday. Thanks to rep runs and saving JPs,
etc., he now has an average ilvl of 335. I am perfectly happy staying
in regulars, doing rep runs and accumulating JPs, but my guild drags
me to Heroics.

I OOM at an alarming rate. Tree form, rather than being an "oh, crap"
button, seems to be just a way to OOM myself ever faster.

I am just now getting items with sockets. I'm so used to aiming for
Spirit, but I think for, say, red sockets I'll go for straight Int.
Priests have a talent that increases their in-combat mana regen from
Spirit by 30%, while a Druid's Innervate seems to be based on maximum
mana - ergo, more mana, more mana returned.

It can be very discouraging as a healer in Cata dealing with the
uneducated masses, some of whom still believe this is Wrath. And if
you have thin skin, while you may intellectually know something wasn't
your fault, emotionally, sometimes it's hard not to feel bad. And even
if you know it wasn't your fault, it's still nice to be told.

Three cheers for husbands who support their healer wives.
