Quel'dorei). I healed BGs back in TBC, and despite what you might
believe, I know that my healing did in fact win nodes/BGs.

Sure, if there's a healer, it's good. That doesn't change the fact that many
BGs do not have healers, and even if they do, many of them are still losses.
I suspect your BG win record isn't 100% despite your presence, after all.

>I guess a lot of people feel like you, however, considering that I can
count on one hand, in all that time it took me to accumulate 79,600
HKs, the number of times I was protected. No, instead I would heal my
ass off at a node or wherever, and we would then win the battle.

Like I said-healing isn't a guaranteed win. Me and 2 other DPS at IG
absolutely dominated that group of 6, and they HAD a healer. More recently,
my warrior and a lock held off a priest and an opposing warrior time and
again. Heals are good, but not a guaranteed winner, and many games DO NOT
HAVE HEALERS. Me, I protect my healers if I see them under attack, but I
also attack enemy healers if I see them(no addon needed)

>I've often considered returning to PvP, which I quit back in TBC, to
grind out another 20,000 HKs to get my "of the Horde" title, but if
the attitude of DPS is still that they don't care about their healers,
I guess I'll likely not bother.

We care about our healers IF we have them, but we are WELL aware of the fact
that many times we will not have them, and we're also aware that even if we
DO, it doesn't mean our success or failure hinges on them.
