Manually, though I'd key-bound the various stances to mouse buttons,
so it was a matter of left clicking on Charge with the mouse, hitting
5 or 6 or whatever with my left hand to thunderclap then pressing the
Mouse4 button with my right to switch to Defensive stance.

Throw or shoot to pull mobs if you don't want to waste rage by
changing to battle stance to charge and can't trust the dps to wait
for you to actually get close enough to proximity agro the mobs. That
should be enough to get all the mobs heading towards you to start with
and then you have taunt for any mobs hit by a fireball. That'd also
be the time to use a shout (when you get them) for a little bit more
AoE threat.
Still, if you've got enough rage that you don't want to waste it by
changing stance to charge, then you've got enough rage that you can
just stay between the mobs and the n00b dps and thunderclap the mobs
when they get in range. (as if you don't have enough rage to
thunderclap, then you don't have enough rage for it to be a waste to
change stance). Hopefully the thunderclap would be enough to get you
agro back on the mob fireballed and you can save your taunt for any
casters that were out of range of the thunderclap.
