Is this a good > starting strategy? Or should I first thunderclap for Aoe snap aggro? Depends on the group. If they're AoEing and aggroing multiple mobs right at the start, Thunderclap first, otherwise, Rend first. > - after that I mostly Shield Slam, as it uses less rage than Heroic Strike > and I am still fighting for rage a bit Heroic Strike is simply a rage burn ability. If you have excess rage, use it, otherwise, it's low priority. > - I taunt if a mob leaves me and then Shield Slam it when it comes into > rage > - I try to use Victory Rush when available as it doesn't cost rage and > causes high threat It also has a self heal built into it, and hits reasonably hard, so yeah, definitely make use of it. > - Strike seems pretty useless. Strike is to give warriors an attack to click up until level 10, after that, it will never be used again. > - Charge is only available out of combat and in Battle Stance. I'd love a > macro that puts me into Battle Stance (if not already in it), Charges and > then puts me back in Defensive Stance. FYI, changing stances removes most of your rage, so that might not help much. At level 29 you can get Warbringer though, which lets you Charge in any stance and in combat, so that will help out a bit there. > - is there any good way to fronload rage and/or threat when pulling? Not sure what level you get Battle/Commanding Shout anymore, but casting those gives you 20 rage now. One minute CD on them though, which is means you might not be able to do it every pull, but it should help a bit if you have them. Sorry I can't go more in depth, as my warrior is Arms(both specs are Arms, one is PvE one PvP) so I only know a little bit about warrior tanking plus some basic and/or general warrior stuff.
