C&C's AI isn't brilliant, and it still does silly things, but it has some nasty tricks up it's sleeve. >although C&C has better cutscene graphics and video clips, definitely >the War2 graphics are much better. Well, you don't get too much time to notice the pretty graphics in the heat of battle (but they are cute if you take a breather. > Second, War2 has a much greater diversity in units and methods of >attacking. I like the Naval and Air units in WC2, but the units in C&C are just as diverse, and more important they are different for each side, where as WC2 has identical units with different names and graphics (give or take a few spells). Both mission lines in C&C require different tactics. > Also, playing your friends at War2 over a network is awesome. >Warcraft 2 is just better. Possibly, I haven't played it yet, but C&C over a modem is pretty awesome. > But, that is my $.02 > > The biggest problem with WC2 is that you can't quickly control your units, so the computer seems to be playing well against you. In fact if it had C&C's keyboard controls (for grouping units in particular) it would be a much better game. The other major advantage C&C has is that there are more missions, and you won't neccessarily get the same ones if you replay the game, this means that it's replay value is higher. I played C&C through twice for GDI, and once for NOD before getting bored. I'm half-way through the Ork missions in WC2 (having done the human ones easily), and am already bored of it. --------------------------------- Casey Charlton ca...@larouss.demon.co.uk
