Hi
I just re-installed  Unreal on my new computer (P4-3Ghz, GeForce vid,
Abit1i7 MB with onboard Realtek 6 ch. audio, 512Mb ram).

When I select Direct3D as the rendered... (which looks good on the start
sequence) I lose the ESCape key function? I can't proceed to the game or ESC
back to the desktop... the only way I can alter the setting is to use Unreal
'safe mode' from the task-bar/progs/unreal-safemode...!

Anyone know why my ESC key won't function correctly? (KB is set to
US/european and is an AT style KB.  The ESC key functions as a pause key
when I run Unreal under Direct3D... but functions normally when using
software rendering (graphics are not nice in this mode... lots of 'shimmers'
etc.)
Any help appreciated....

Try a visit to the download portion of www.oldunreal.com and get the
opengl patch.
