Hello All,

I've installed the Original UT (v4.00 & v4,36) on two different WinXP
sp1 w/ DirectX9, different ATi video cards and get the following
error:

Critical Error
D3D Driver: Encountered oversize texture without sufficients mipmaps

History:MakeNew <- UD3DRenderDevice::SetTexture
<-UD3DRenderDevice::PrecacheTexture <- NormalTexture <-
(ladderFonts.UTLadder10.Texture34) <- UD3DRenderDevice::Precache <-
UGameEngine::Draw <- UWindowsViewport::Repaint <- UWindowsClient::Tick
<- UGameEngine:Tick <- UpdateWorld <-MainLoop

Can get to the main screen in Safe Mode but if I try to play the above
error appears again. Anyone have this problem? Thx....

Have you tried running Unreal Tournament in Safe Mode and checking the
'Reset all configuration options to default' box?

Is your computer overclocked?
