I've recently upgraded to windows xp and reinstalled all my software on a
brand new hard drive. When I try to play unreal I cant load any saved games
(pre xp ), all my saved games are on a separate hard disk but wont load on
the new os, I've tried moving the saved games onto the new hard disk but
unreal still wont find them. any one any ideas.

Unreal needs some info from the 'user.ini' file in the unreal/system folder to
load saved games.
Just copy the .ini over ...
