HUGE problem in unreal.

I hope someone can help me with my problem.  I have been playing Unreal for a
couple days and regularly saving my progress.  For some reason, it crashes on
my with a GPF every hour or so, but that's ok, i can live with it.  Yesterday
I decided to play a bot match, and after about a half hour, it crashed, with a
GPF.  The next time I played Unreal, my save games were GONE!  I exited and
looked in the /unreal/save directory, and there were about 5 files there in
*.usa format, so I think that my save games are still there, but for some
reason Unreal won't recognize them.  I even tried a complete reinstall of
Unreal, just keeping my save games, but that didn't work either.  If anyone
can help, I would really appreciate it!!! email me at
