Hi folks !
Yesterday I tried out UTDemo for the first time.
Man, I gotta say, it really hit me in a way.
This game really REALLY rocks.
I can't think of any game that can reach the level of UT.
I can't wait for the OpenGL version, cause I have a TNT2 Ultra.
At this moment I have to play it with my voodoo1, but I still get around
19fps avg. which isn't too bad for the demo.
AI is great, it's not very close to playing against human players, but
hey, it's better than walking
around alone in a DM map.
Gotta tell you, this game will have it all.
Hail to the people who made this game.
They really thought it over well.
I think ID-software started crying when they saw this demo.
Just gimme a sniper rifle, about 1000 bullets, and a nice viewpoint

I think that UT beats Q3 hands down in terms of imagination and i have
played both games alot. Quake3 does have the advantage of speech bubbles but
who can honestly say that they haven't in a fit of rage or enthusiasm railed
a "bubbler" ( :)? ). So Quake3 shows little imagination with the weapons and
the shotgun is crap even at close range, whilst UT has the pulse gun!!:) and
the full version will have the redeemer. UT kicks Quake3 has it's limits and
i think the AI will be the real test. (forgive the pun)

I hope John Carmack soils his pants for creating a game with crap weapons and lack of ideas. The large number of gameplay types in UT alone is gonna make ID choke with their crap Quake3 game.

If you have a Creative TNT2, grab the CL unified drivers - then you can use your TNT2 with glide wrapping (I don't know if this will work with non-creative TNT's. I can't find the URL, but if someone else cares to put it up, I am sure that Tim will be grateful Skroob skr...@hugh-macd.freeserve.co.uk -------------------------------- Ship's Computer: "Thank you for pressing the self destruct button.
