Has Demon (UK) finally gone to the dogs...

Anyone from the UK trying to play UT or Q3 via their Demon account??

I have given up...I have no idea what these jokers are up to and for
£12 per month they bloody ought to sort it out. I have a USR 56K and
connect at 45,300 on ave. However this isn't a constant - Line
degradation kicks in almost immediately.

I originally thought it was my phone line, so the other day I got BT
round..."no problems" they said - BT speak for f**k off - So I
installed Wireplay to try it's direct connect in case as I had
suspected it wasn't my phone line. Well low and behold connect at
44,000 on the nose - consistant too and it's playable. Bit of a high
ping 200-ish. I need to mess with the configs to smooth that.

So anyone experiencing the same sort of problems with Demon?

Just a rant nothing else :)

No I use a different isp but I'll tell you this their Unreal server in the
last month or two has been crap.
Up and down like a yoyo.
It used to be the best this time last year but now....
I don't play there anymore, it's that bad.
