I thought I read somewhere that there will be a demo, but it won't be available until after UT ships, because Epic wants to have some more time to iron out the bugs. --Jack Alan Reid wrote: > > Is there going to be a demo at all????

Does Unreal Tournament use a totally new engine, or is doe sit use the old unreal engine? if it uses the old one, they have a lot of ironing to do. Davy

Well, supposedly they've done their ironing, so hopefully it will be stable. I for one would rather have the old engine plus fixes than a totally new one, because the Epic programmers have had lots of time to work out the kinks on the old engine. --Jack Davy wrote: > > Jack Moreno <jgmo...@pacbell.net> wrote in message > news:37783158.210B377F@pacbell.net... > > I thought I read somewhere that there will be a demo, but it won't be > > available until after UT ships, because Epic wants to have some more > > time to iron out the bugs. > > Does Unreal Tournament use a totally new engine, or is doe sit use the old > unreal engine? if it uses the old one, they have a lot of ironing to do. > > Davy

Yes UT uses the Unreal engine but with some new things put in. I'm sure they've ironed out quite a few things. -- <<The Beany Dog Clan>> ICQ# 36011198 Davy <davy....@maxforums.org> wrote in message news:7laehf$rup$1@trex.antw.online.be... > > > Jack Moreno <jgmo...@pacbell.net> wrote in message > news:37783158.210B377F@pacbell.net... > > Davy > >
