I love the "fill-in-the-blank"=terrorism posts that claim validity.

OK, prove it. Post a link to a credible study that shows an increase in 
affinity for violence due to playing games. I can save you the trouble.

Look, my family was dirt-poor appalachian white trash. From an incredibly 
young age we poached deer and rabbits and any small game out of neccesity. 
You didn't hunt, you didn't eat. I grew up around the smell of butchered 
deer in the kitchen sink. I though nothing of killing something other than 
how good it was going to taste. So did most of my friends.

You know how many people I've hurt or killed (excluding time served in US 
Army)? None. You know how many of my friends grew up into killers? Yep, 
none. As a matter of fact I play Unreal games several times a week, I run my 
own game server and am active in several Unreal forums. Want to know how 
many guns I have owned in the last 5 years? I'll give you a hint: Less than 
1.

Considering I live in a country with population 5,5 million where some 
forty* (as in four-zero) people was murdered in the year 2007, despite

In fact supplying people with cars seems much wiser as almost 380 people 
got killed in traffic and then there is the people killed by polution.

Seems to me you forgot Israel on that list. A country which created 
itself by the use of terror bombings, has had government leaders which 
committed crimes against humanity and continues to occupy Palestine land 
and use it's citizens as pretty much slave labors. One should think the 
Jews knew better than to use starvation, torture, prison camps and 
guns+planes+gunships+tanks against civilians.

The world is a better place for allowing freedom of speech and freedom 
of expression - even when it means some people will spread stupid lies 
about things they fear because they don't understand them. At one time 
people was tortured because they though the world was a globe and not 
flat as a pancake.

I live in a country which is not afraid to firmly on the side of 
freedom** and I'm proud of it. What are you proud of?

Strangely enough, games like Socom were left off that list too.  Games
developed in part by the US Army to help recruit more soldiers and/or
cannon fodder.  Just thought I'd add my bit.

I play UT at least every week, and I haven't touched a gun since High
school PE class about 10 years ago, nor a gas powered chainsaw, a
pneumatic hammer, a pointy crowbar (well I did use a crowbar to pull
out some bad-ass nails once or twice).  Point is, I didn't learn how
to use these things with a computer mouse.  And I still don't like to
see real people get hurt on tv.

Don't get me wrong for sure the rockets fired at Israel and the suicide 
bombers are evil but considering it's an occupied nation fighting back

Hey! That's my job!

Oddly enough, I haven't been drinking or doing any drugs, (except weed 
if ya wanna call that drugs) and I just haven't felt like being a troll.

I own several guns and shoot them a lot. I also like voilent video games 
and being a troll on usenet, however, I would never even think about 
using one of my guns in anger. I would protect my life if I had to, but 
I would never kill anyone unless it was them or me.

Having said that, I'm gonne play some UT to get fired up, them I'm gonna 
oil up my AK, load a bunch of thirty round mags and go shoot the shit 
out of some paper targets. lol
