Right..... I haven't been keeping up with the news, and was wondering,
when is UT supposed to be released? I guess if I wasn't feeling lazy, I
could look it up on the 'net, but then I wouldn't get to converse with you
great folks!! <g>

    Talk to ya later!

Original thoughts were end of August. This is definitely not going to
be the case and with the Tiberian Sun release, it would have been
unwise anyway. Perhaps mid to end September. Their real competition
is of course Q3A so they have to release it before or on the same
release as Q3A, the release date of which is also speculative.

They're in final beta testing with UT now. However, I doubt the
graphics have been finalised as yet because they're still working on
226's d3d for Unreal which will probably be the same graphics library
used in UT. No UT until they've sorted out Unreal's d3d.

True true... I am unaware of possible release but I thought it was
somewhat after UT and Q3 hence why I didn't consider it as immediate
competition. Of course, when it comes out... will be awesome.

Hmmm.... Valve said that it will be released when its done...
Some say that, since TF (a mod for Quake) had its birthday on the 24 of Aug.
, that there is a chance for TF2 to be released on the 24. of Sep..... Then
we have some who say the 4. quarter of 1999 (christmas) or the 1. quarter
of 2000.
(I hope its Sep. 24 ;))
