Over the last year, I've asked about this a couple of times, but I'm still hoping someone can explain it. In the past, I've mentioned a curiosity about some people who have pings that never fluctuate. A few weeks ago, I also noted a difficulty recording demos from those players. Well, now something has really got my curiosity up. - The server involved is hosted by Trinity in Chicago. Trinity's fibre provider has had a little problem with one of their edge routers leaving Chicago and it has affected ping for everyone outside the edge zone. In fact, mine increase about ~20 and many other "regular" players have mentioned pretty much the same. Well, the 75 pingers whose pings never fluctuate are still exactly 75. I have to raise an eyebrow. Can this phenomenon be explained at all?
