Relics. There are several relics mods that either change the behavior of the relics or add new behavior. One in my collection also allows for multiple of the same kind of relic and adds different behavior. There are some game speed mods as well. Some of the funnels have a mod that superspeeds a player when they touch (run over) a certain spot on the map. - there are many other physics mods, but my guess is it's a relics mod. I siggest your brother finds a server to play that has either less mods, or different ones. Or that he learns what mods are on the servers he is playing and figures out how to play those mods competitively.
