I sold my last bike right before I got married. It was a 1000 Kaw that would
really go straight line. I put a lot of money into juicing it up and it
would run right with a buddies ZX-11 (at least until the first curve :)
I've ridden the GSX-R's and the ZX series but I don't really care for the
seating. Too much pressure on the wrists. I'm not a very aggresive rider
either so the added ground clearance in curves is wasted on me. Love the
straight line acceleration on them though. Very light and nimble in traffic.
I was watching "Metric Revolution" on TV last night (it's a bike build-off)
and they had a 'busa that was stretched out a bit, but was tricked out with
twin (yes twin) turbos and twin (yes again) nitrous. Dyno'd out at 500 HP.
How in the world are you ever going to put that much power to the ground
through one wheel? That's not a motorcycle, it's a donorcycle.
