Hello Chris

CW> I'm running UT GOTY 436 Linux vesion, and am fairly new to
CW> it. The game runs fine, but I'd like to play 1-on-1 DM with
CW> a mate from another city. The Multiplayer/Internet game
CW> options work fine as well, but only if I want to join an
CW> already existing online game. There doesn't seem to be an
CW> option to connect directly to another online user, only to
CW> online games where there are more than just me and the other
CW> guy. Is it possible to connect directly to another computer
CW> via the internet, for a 1-on-1 deathmatch encounter?

Yus, you, or him, needs to run a server locally. "Start new
multiplayer game". Then give him the IP and he can "Open Location" to
get there.

Don't run a dedicated server in another session or you'll find your
ping gets stupidly high at times.
