Everything goes OK until I try to start a mission - I just get exited straight to Windows

PII 300
64Mb RAM
STB Velocity 128
32x CD ROM

What could be wrong?

Try cleaning your TEMP- directory and re- install DX6.0, that helped
me.

I have an STB velocity as well, and it will only work in hardware with the
latest drivers from stb, if you haven't updated them recently you could give
it go, it worked for me.

Though on a side note, Half life will only work with drivers from riva.
Strange eh? Why can't they actually pick a standard and stick to it.

I got the file from the STB homepage - I right-clicked the STBv128 file and selected install - is that all I have to do. It still didn't work.

Maybe you are trying to run it in too high res.
Try lowering the resolution.
