There were parts I really liked. I don't know why, but on the computer I can't get a door to unlock. On an xbox I can pop it right open. I have high hopes for Thief 4! I wish that at some time they would give Garrett cause to go back into Soulforge and find Viktoria and bring her back. And I want to see Garrett get into the room where we see Karras. Also want to have Artemus back. It seems like that could be worked out easily and might play into the role of the Keepers in 4.

The lockpicking/ladder-climbing bug is well-known and easily fixed;
setting cpu affinity & toggling vsync settings as explained in various
ttlg.com faq threads takes care of these.
And Thief3 was a great game -- just different.
