What is your favorite mission out of any Thief game?

I think I have several. Soulforge is definitely one of them.

I have never played a fan mission. Do they look and sound the same as
missions in the Thief games?? I might keep my old computer and find someone
that can tell me how to set it up so I can play some of the fan missions.

Barnabyh replies:

Equilibrium. Fantastic mission. Not that much action but great
atmosphere. To me all what Thief's about.

Barnabyh replies:

You gotta play the Fan missions! Probbaly the most used site for this
is http://thiefmissions.com/ , great archive and still being updated,
last entry is just from yesterday.

You will need the Darkloader, or I believe later there was something
called Thiefloader, then T2X and the never finished CoSaS are also very
highly recommended.
Or the 7th Crystal FM. You'll find it on above site. Search the
Googlegroups archive a little bit for lengthy discussions on most of
these missions. You'll probably have to go back 5-10 years in this
newsgroup. I would actually really recommend starting out with T2x for
a whole new game.
Keep your old comp around for this. I still have an old machine here to
play Thief once I put Windows back on one drive.
Some tips: Hyperthreading is bad for running Thief, causes all sorts
of issues, better to have an older processor.
There is a switch to get Thief to install on Win2000Pro and XP, have a
look on the Komag site I gave you the link for in previous post. I
think it's similar to "-lgnt --force" or something. Also search Komag
for Nocd cracks. Makes loading faster.

Have fun!

never finished? aw that's too bad. i had totally forgotten about that
one. that museum job was FREAKING hard but good. so much time has
passed since all of this stuff.....i just haven't thought about it much
in a long long time. now i'm dyin' to build something that will play it
again without any futzing.
