I maybe you thief players might be able to help me get T2 running. I recently picked up a copy, but can't get it to start on XP SP2. It installs OK and when I also tried to install the indeo driver it says I already have a newer version. I tried running it in Windows98/ME compatibility mode, but that didn't help. Any suggestions appreciated.

If your computer is a duel processor, some older programs don't like it. Start Thief2, but don't go beyond the menu screen. ALT TAB out of it to desk top. ALT CTRL DEL to get to task manager got to "Processes". Find "Thief2.exe" Right click mouse. Click on "Set Affinity" Unclick one of the CPUs Close task manager. ALT TAB back to Thief2. I suggest you go to this web site, become a member (free) and go to the tech forum. Lots of good info about Thief there. http://www.ttlg.com/forums/index.php

Actually, there's some good stuff here, specifically: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=75031 but I didn't check to see if they addressed your particular problem there.
