Over the course of how many days was it posted? I was up there once
and it wasn't complete. I went up there now and only #54 to #99 is
complete and the others don't even show up.
Sorry, I have a freebie News server that has a limited number of days
that it keeps them.

You need to use a newsreader that can download incomplete parts and
assemble them as they are completed like Forte Agent.

*remembers binary newsgroups from before the days of bittorrent* ;)

I use Forte Agent, but my news server still only keeps the files for a
couple of days. Plus, PARs would not recover that many files.

You should be able to configure Agent so you can download parts as they
become available. I'd be more specific but I don't have Agent anymore.
I'm sure that someone in the newsgroups that support Agent can tell you
more though.

Best to grab every 12 hours if you have a shitty server and snag
as many whole ones right away.

If you have a program that will download even the segments while you wait
for more segments to show up then get those too...

I know xnews allows it and i think newsbin pro allows this too.. dunno
about others.

What you do is get what you can and ask for help from others that nabbed
the files...

That's what I do when i need help.

But don't for the entire post to show up and then get stuff. Not with a
shitty server..

teranews.com offers 50 megs a day and so does bubbanews I bet there
are others that you could pull segments from to help with the incompletes.
