Hi there,

I have downloaded the latest Canopus Windows 98 / 9x drivers (I am running
on Windows 98) as well as the AWE64 Gold update and have installed DirectX6
but I just can't seem to accelerate thief - it keeps giving me a "The
requested screen mode could not be set" message.

The readme mentiones Riva 128 as one of the chips tested for compatibility.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I really don't want to
carry on with this amazing game without getting the most out of it. Help!
