Thief, gamma, and STB 4400 AGP
#146

Hi all, I'm running Thief through my STB Velocity 4400 AGP, and I'm having
trouble with the screen brightness (gamma). It's only acceptable if I jack
my monitor's brightness setting to 100%, otherwise the game is too dark.
The in-game gamma adjustment doesn't do anything at all (?!), and I can't
find a way to turn up the brightness through the advanced settings graphics
tab in win98.

please help!
thanks!

Hey Dave, I had the same exact problem w/ my Voodoo...I went into the cards
settings under display props - and changed it, restarted, and it was a
little better - just bumped up the gamma in the control panal/display
properties/Monster 3fx etc.etc... hope that helps in someway...:)

I can't find anywhere in the display properties on the STB 4400 to adjust
the gamma... any owners of this card out there that can help me brighten it
up?
