I haven't played the new version yet but I loaded it up and it didn't seem particularly slow. In the first version, you had to ghost on Expert and I don't believe that has changed as it says this on the Read-me page in Darkloader: Expert: neither blackjacking nor alarming of the guards allowed. So there's probably no BJ and even if there was, it would be of no use to you.
