I always assume that anyone might read anything I post to Usenet at any
time, and that includes you. My opinion of you is based on your behavior
in rec.arts.books.tolkien. I was a frequent reader and occasional poster
there when you stomped out in a virtual huff a couple of years ago, and
I was among the many who were not sorry to see you go. You no doubt have
a different viewpoint on the matter than I do, and it won't do any good
to drag the matter out now. Those who wish can go to the archives at
http://groups.google.com and form an opinion of their own.

Or they can form an opinion based on this post, where a weeks-old thread
is resurrected and taken drastically OT for no other reason than to call
me "intensely hostile and childish" based on a single mention of your
name as being among the *two* people in all of Usenet I've taken a
dislike to.

Thanks for the reminder.
