Thanks for the replies guys. It looks like I was a bit off the mark
with my thoughts or anticipations on Thief 3 hitting the streets in
the next handful of months or so...

I have been playing Thief since it came out. I actually started
playing the original thief from a downloaded release and loved it so
much that I went out and bought the game. Of course, the rest is
history. ThiefGold and Thief2 naturally followed. They all soon became
my "favorites" and never really left my PC... Now that I can't find
Thief 2, I am quite annoyed and upset at the same time.. I live in
hopes that somebody will front up and say "Oh, don't you remember that
you said I could borrow it",, then I will take his head off because I
didn't..

I have always been in this newsgroup basically since it started but
can't see many familiar names now (Geoff and Kevin etc). I didn't post
much in recent months but popped in every now and then to say hi to
the regulars. At one stage we appointed each other as characters in an
imaginary Thief circle. I can't remember my appointment, maybe
Treasurer or something... I update this newsgroup every day without
failure and always browse it. A couple of times it got real small in
content but I still hung in there......

Cheers guys and keep on taffing....
