A slight reprieve....!!!
Will wonders never cease...!!!
For some onknown reason, I found a complete image of my Thief2
install, on the other partition of my HDD...
I "think" I can remember copying it there just before I typed the DOS
command = "format c:" ,, so I could reinstall Windows...
Nevertheless, it's there and even though it took some work, I got it
going AND I made another backup... The acid test... Would Calendras
Legacy install on it => YES, with Darkloader it did and it worked.. I
am over the moon about this... Honest, you have never seen a smile as
wide as the one on my face right after C's Legacy fired up... Shit, I
am happy... It took me 2 friggin days to download that 300+ mbs of C's
Legacy via a 56k modem. I wasn't going to give up that easy...

On the other hand, I am still pissed off that I can't find my Thief2
CD.. Now I can't even find the ThiefGold CD.. I still have Thief
though.. Snorkkk..!!!! There's evil doings afoot...

Right, I am going to burn my backup onto a CD right now...

Cheers....
