Usenet is DED, and the only people who still remember how to create
new newsgroups died along with the dinosaurs probably. Other than
trolls, that is. 


Well, realistically speaking, I don't think this group will ever see
much of a revival (at least compared to the 100 post/day past), ever,
even with SC2, simply because the majority of discussion-clamoring
internet users find their discussion on different web boards today
rather than Usenet. Well, geeks might still use it, but for something
as mainstream as gaming it's much easier for the general public to
post on gamespot/gamefaqs(lol) or whatever, since that's where they'll
be going otherwise too. 

Newsgroups are too much off the beaten path and only used by nerds who
used them already when they actually saw some form of real semi-usage
:p

And people use the binary groups a lot for pirating crap... not quite
as popular as bit torrent sites, but popular none the less.
(not that this has anything to do with actual discussion taking place
on usenet...)

I looked up how to create a newsgroup a while ago, but I thought it
was too complicated at the time and decided not to bother with it.
