"The long-rumoured new instalment of Blizzard's massive StarCraft
series is set to be unveiled later this month - and it's another
massively-multiplayer online game in the style of World of Warcraft,
CVG can reveal."

I do not trust a site with that many adds. - They're just trying to
hype everything up, so they can get additional pageviews.

But really, if it's a SC MMO, I can't see myself playing it.

But seriously, I don't think they're going to do that, it would
cannibalize their existing userbase, and they'll get known as "that
company which only makes MMORPGs".

I agree - that would be super gay.

That would seriously piss me off - to wait for years and years to be . . .
*ahem* Let's see if it's true.

It would be a kick in the nuts because the StarCraft universe actually
has a story to continue.

Warcraft has a lame-ass story which keeps being retold, so they can
get away with making lame-ass MMO crap for that game, and then make
some normal WCs again later.

Not so with SC.

I don't believe a word of it. Warcraft had hero's. Items. Experience and
levels. Gold.

Starcraft has none of the above, except for the occasional super unit such
as Raynor or Kerrigan. What are they gonna do? Give you a wallet to put
minerals in it, and a balloon for vespene gas? If, IF, it's going to be some
sort of MMO, it is NOT going to be an RPG such as WOW. However, it could
become something similar to EVE. Some sort of now-gen Elite, but then
online. Or maybe something completely different. I really can't see it
happen that we'll have Zerg characters. What classes would they be? Besides,
even the title "World of Starcraft" is completely ridiculous, because the
word "Star" would implement not one but many worlds.

People have suggested Galaxy of StarCraft.

Oh well, let's hope not.

I think we should try to at least trust Blizzard until they make a formal
announcement.

Quick 1vs1 on LT!

Oh god dammit some Korean guys came and used most the minerals on this LT
with a mining operation for tribute payments to Kerrigan. I hear there is
another LT near Mar Sara - let's go set up an alliance with the protectors
there and then 1 vs 1; there are probably infested Carriers with Psi-nuke
ability all over this sector now anyway.

Wait - I'll be there in about 20 minutes; I need to stop and research
transport speed upgrades on my commander transport at the Xel-Naga (Erhm
Xel-Nugget) subspace accelerators store here.
