Hmmm, a lot of websites have exploded today with rumors about
StarCraft 2. Apparently a lot of korean websites think they have an
inside scoop.

I just wanted to add to the hype :)

I guess not. Rumors have it that they will announce that SC2 is coming
May 19th.

I found an english link here:
http://sc.gosugamers.net/news.php?id=6151

I guess the newsgroup will explode on/after the 19th if this holds
true :)

Dammit, I sure hope it isn't "World of Starcraft". Maybe a Diablo
MMORPG?

StarCraft still has a story to finish, and I want a single player
game, FFS.

I don't think they're gonna make another MMO, I just think their job
posting is for WoW itself.

Blizzard is a great gaming company, I don't think they want to be
known as "the MMORPG company".

They could be doing both. After Warcraft Adventures was canned we ended
up getting Warcraft 3 and WoW.

Can history repeat with SC?

Saw the blurb on \.

Wonder if it'll run on Win98SE?

Or are we being set up for a major disappointment (Ghost, anyone?)

I want it to look good. Requiring a mid range video card and windows XP
won't bother me any

I doubt that Blizzard is going to attempt to threaten the success of
WoW by introducing another MMO.

Speaking of WoW, the new game announcement on May 19th isn't going to
be Starcraft 2, it'll be the next expansion for WoW, I bet, regardless
of what the Korean sites are claiming.

Granted, I've been wrong before though.

Unless Blizzard were clever and let you play WoW and WoS with the same
account.

I doubt it, TBC's keeping them busy enough. I don't think Wow expansions
are going to be a regular thing.

Blizzard has never made more than one expansion for a game before just
making another game.

Although I do understand that MMORPGS are not just "normal games" - I'd
imagine they consider the current crowd satiated.

I can't even see his messages. I wonder if some HTML-kill-filter has
