Yeah, they sucked it up pretty good this time around. I guess I'm
rooting for Ghana to do anything against Brazil (a point or two would
be nice, I don't expect them to win). Also, Go England.

England? Owen is out, Rooney is playing at maybe 70%, and Beckham
is playing like a wet towel. Fuck England. England is out. The only good
in England are Cole and Gerrard, and that's not good enough to get to
the semi finals.

They won today. Portugal played crazy and won in the end, but they
lost two good players to red cards. After seeing Portugal today, I
would be surprised if they could beat England in the quarter-finals.
If they do that, then they'll probably face Brazil in the semi-finals
and lose. My prediction for Germany vs. Brazil in the final is still
on, while for 3rd and 4th, I'm guessing it'll be England and whodafuck
knows. (Italy maybe? Australia? Ukraine? Probably not. Switzerland?
Who knows...)

Beckham's goal sure was purdy, though...

What a horrible game. And screw van Basten, for benching his
best forward (he could have had a better one but for some reason
didn't bring him along). Not even putting him in after they were
playing 10-11. Unbelievable. Instead he puts in Kuyt, who
apparently had real problems finding the goal. If Kuyt has proven
anything this tournament, he has proven that he lacks the class
to be in a tournament like this. Bah. Ah well, Holland is out.

It was a world class goal. But I do not think that it will be enough
to beat Portugal. Do not underestimate those Portuguese. We did.
