I was given a, uh, "Russian version" of the game three or so months
after release, then went and bought the real version about 3 months
after that since I liked it a good deal and wanted to try the online
multiplayer.

I played relatively actively all the way up till 2002 when I had to
start my conscript service, after that it's been an on-and-off thing.
Well, it was like that before it too, but still more "on" than "off"
before that, I guess.

Right now I'm in "on" mode since this annoying bugger of a half-blood
Korean keeps bugging me for games. A presistent dolt who even
ocassionally(well, really only with Zerg) manages to kick my ass, even
if he only got the game a little over half a year ago. Some people are
just frightnengly quick in picking up things, I guess.

So yeah, anyone for a game? ;-P

I bought it shortly after release, but didn't really start playing
competitively until a few years ago. I'm playing again after a
relatively lengthy hiatus and generally manage around 10 games a week
on average.

Started playing right after the release. Me and 2 friends all took the day
off as soon as the box was in. I don't play much anymore, but I used
to play online quite a bit.

6 yrs for me and I played first 2yrs continuously and after that I played d2
and quit sc for 6 monthes or so then played sc again to this day, SC is the
best RTS I played almost no lag I find it very balanced good free online
play and bnet still patch this game every now and then:)

BTW I also play WoW and any other RTS if I like their game play cos graphics
doesn't attract me for RTS games, if I want graphics I will play action
games for that, I can't wait to try new Tiberium Wars a new title from C&C
coming out this yr sometimes.

P.S I so can't wait for SC2 or similar from blizzard.

Cheers
Played mainly terrans, and protoss, zerg I am quite slow as compared to the
other two.

Name is nukesun on uswest
