Well I'm all for making epic campaigns with an involving storyline,
and god knows I'll illegaly download whatever content I can get away
with and still be able to play online, so pricing isn't really an
issue for me, but the rumored 1+ years between each installment just
to play through the different races in single player is sounding
pretty retarded. A few months, fine, but talking about years is epic
fail.
I liked playing through the single player first, before getting my ass
handed to me by 12 year old koreans thanks very much. Having to wait
several years, you'll already have played these races ad nauseum
online and the compaigns are never gonna have the "oh wow cool" factor
of seeing crap for the first time or coming up with strategies from
scratch.
Sure they're gonna make the single player different from multi player
so they can modify/change units to fit the story without having to
balance it for multiplay, but still the core race design and common
tactics are gonna be pretty laid out already after like 2 years of
online playing, so the gameplay of the expansion campaigns are gonna
feel considerably more familiar than if it had been a brand new game.
