http://pc.ign.com/articles/757/757586p1.html January 22, 2007 - In an interview with Empire magazine, Blizzard's Vice President of Development Itzik Ben Bassat spoke about the company's next MMO. Don't expect a clone of World of Warcraft or anything too similar to what Blizzard has done in the past. "When we announce our next MMORPG," Bassat told Empire, "it's not going to be another WoW. We're not a company that tends to tread the same ground. It'll be something innovative and new that really brings entertainment to another level." At the Burning Crusade launch event in London, Bassat mentioned that the next StarCraft title will be released sooner, rather than later.
