The poem?  I sincerely don't remember what you are talking about.  (Although 
I do vaguely seem to recall writing a poem and then people telling me it 
didn't make sense because I was married or something.)

LOL - I did get married quite young, and Sandra would have left me sooner 
had we not had a kid - so I suppose  your resolve is well founded.   But we 
are both quite reasonable people, and I intend on remaining her friend.  I 
don't regret my decision to get married to her.  I share in the blame of the 
downfall of our relationship.

Even if that is what I he said precisely, I prefer the translation, after he 
had tried X times, "I have not failed at making a lightbulb, I have simply 
found X ways not to make a light bulb"
