Well then, if you ask me, what is harmful to children is society's sexual taboo, not pornography. > > It's as bad as the people who say decay of the family is what > >destroyed Greece and Rome - only difference is the latter are people > >babbling in church, the first is an argument used in politics/courtroom etc. > > Actually, there's a more important difference. There have been scientific studies, and they have all been closed down. There are rumours, that they were shut down because what they were finding did not match up with sociological ideals. > >I suppose at 5849.0625 days of age people are no longer harmed by pr0n, > Those that suddenly become 16? Here in the wonderful state of Utah, we are appearantly never old enough to make our own decisions. We have a porn Czar (who happens to be a self proclaimed 40 year old virgin lady) who says what can and cannot enter the state. All beer sold in this state has half as much alchohol as regular beer - otherwise they couldn't sell it at the grocery store. And yet, despite all these restrictions people are calling out for more legislation and restrictions. All the magazines in the stores now have black covers over them so you can't see anything but the title. Malls get in trouble for putting up posters with scantily clad women to sell underwear. Bush is trying to ammend the constitution to discriminate against non conventional marriage. If people had their way the damn internet would be censored. It's a scary time we live in. It may not be all of America, it may possibly just be Utah. The extreme right is fighting hard - and countries don't seem to recover from that in any kind of timely manner. -- -LTP "The best way to understand the mathematical concept of infinity is to contemplate the extent of cock rocket's self spnaking stupidity." - Optional Identity Veto Quicktime!
