To everybody!

I enjoy reading this newsgroup since I am a HUGE Quake fan,
and I have already pre-ordered Q3 (well, who hasn't ;) ). But
one think sucks so bigtime about this newsgroup! Can't people
stom flaming each other? It doen't go a day without some sort
of message that says something like: 'You dork! That's wrong!',
'He is homosexual', 'FREAK! FREAK! FREAK!', etc. etc.
Please, stop this nonsense, and let us focus on the reason this
newsgroup exist - to discuss Quake (3), and (almost) NOTHING
else!

Thanks,

Is this wise ?
I remember rushing to get my hands on a copy of Q2, only to find it had
bugs. A few weeks later a rather large download of the net was required to
update it. I suspect this was in an attempt to get Q2 out before Christmas
so hopefully Q3A wont suffer the same way. However, I'm wondering if its
worth while waiting a little before rushing down the shops on release day.

Being a two faced hypocrite, I'll probably wont be able to resist the urge
when the big day comes !!

Dopple.
