Heya folks! Long time no look in here. Good to see y'all! I have moved up the machine specs a few notches since last here. Running a Intel Quadcore 64 bit Win 7 Pro rig now and 24" widescreen monitor. AND: q3a runs FINE on it! LOL! I is impressed! So, one of my kids ran off with a book of my archives disks and most of my old game stuff was on that. Like a couple dvd's full of Quake 3 maps. Anyone got any clue where to get all those really fun old maps we played a lot? The guy that made the rats maps, he's who? And, where?! TIA! Later people! :) McG.

Oh man, the newer i7's using DDR3 and Multi Threading for EACH of the 4 cores completely blow this old Q9550 out of the water! I'm still using an old 8800GTX 768 meg. It's a good card but it gets *HOT* and its just air cooled. Means no Crysis. The older games are fine with it though. :) McG.

LOL! I also have a 7800GTX for backup, and a simple old EVGA 6800 too. But it's AGP 8X. No working mobo for it just yet. McG.

Ahhhh *nods* I think the Radeon was somewhat newer when I got it a couple of years back, but not so much any more. :P -- ImperiusDamian http://damiansdominion.byethost7.com Diablo II Gemstone IV Mod http://damiansdominion.byethost7.com/diablo/gemstone.php
