Demo. Just trying to have a little fun but it seems liek everytime I
try to set up a server it doesn't show up under "Internet", just LAN,
no matter how many times I try it

OMG, do people still play QIII? I was gong to setup a Q4 server, but I found
that most of the servers out there are empty. Same for UT. Is there anyone
that isn't playing counter-shite these days?

Quake III is still very popular. It's pretty much the best FPS ever made, so
it will never die.

CSports, which tracks individual players stats for a variety of games always
displays how many people have played some game in some time period like,
say, the past week. CS in always at the top by a large margin, followed by
others. Q3 is always in or close to the top 10.

#11 at the moment.... which is pretty strong for a 6 year old game.

How very interesting. QII is number 22, after all these years. I wonder how
accurate their stats are? UT2004 is dead. Very dead. Are there really that
many people playing? I'd also like to see the ratio of players to servers,
and empty servers to non-empy servers.

I believe it is accurate. They may not poll every server in existence, but I
think they get the vast majority of them.

They do poll all the master servers, so any server sending info to the
masters get picked up, and that's most of the public servers. And that's
worldwide.
