Does anyone play with a fov setting (cg_fov) of more than the default? And if so, how long does it take to get used to it? What about the problem of objects in the distance? tia - -- M

The main advantages of a smaller FOV, is that things are a little bigger, and everything seems to slow down, and predicting movement becomes a little easier. Lots of good players I know are using 110 and even 120.

So i am noticing! Good players down here use just that...110 or 120... of course by good players I mean the good ones that I have talked to. I am finding it slow to get used to 100 - but the game does seem* to move faster. Thanks mate.

I play at fov 120, but I have a script so that if I press the railgun key twice, it goes to 70. Then it automatically zooms back out when I switch to another weapons. I really like it. I still have the regular zoom when I need to see something, but this "half zoom" is nice

I already use a script to swap between rail and the next highest weapon - and its nice to have.... except in R&R - ;) -- M
