End of crappy Q4?

In last three days I could not find the server in Australia to play Q4. Initially I hated that game and still I think that's the end of era ID. I hate lifeless sounds, map design and very clutter view. Graphics are demanding from video card but unattractive at all in most maps. Movement is great but aim, ESPECIALLY in rail is total CRAP! Q3A still rocks but QW has the best feel and ID has lost the plot and the world supremacy. They should design engines because the rest is crap! :( They didn't play that game at all or they are to old for it? ;)

I personally think the latest crop of games (Doom 3, Quake 4, FEAR, Far Cry etc) are absolutely stunning. It certainly is a great time to be a gamer. I also find it funny that these types get everything wrong, like the "Doom3 was Raven too?" question, thats so funny, he didn't even notice the big ID intro movie that comes up every single time you run the thing :) Cheers Dre

FYI, Never noticed quake 4 becoming available on PC?? Or I have perhaps been fast asleep lateley?? Neway the thing is that if you don't have a high end graphix card (note my own nvidia ti4200 128mb) you can't expect the game to run smooth setting it to your standard screensize, the only good setting is 640x480 to keep it fast, even for you.. But doom3 just does rock... a... lot...
