This site is nearly impossible to get to with the pop up age
verification in the way. With all the extensions I have I actually have
to go into safe mode in Firefox to get the pop up to show. Internet
Explorer is pretty much the same thing, I've got googlebar's pop-up
blocker plus the yahoo anti-spy blocker. Of course there isn't actually
any useful info at the Q4 site, but who actually doesn't have pop-ups
blocked these days? There's a pop-up blocker built into IE now for
chrissakes.
Just seems crazy making a website this difficult to get to. They could
make it easier by storing an age verifying cookie, but no, you've got to
go through the age verification every time. (approaching full rant mode
now) WTF is the purpose of those silly age verification things anyway?
What the hell makes that a legitimate safeguard against young kids
looking at a web site? Is it just legal absolution? "She said she was
18 officer". That might work somewhere, I dunno. So if some 9 year old
says he's 14, Activision can't be held accountable for his perusing
their blood and gore and satan stuff?

g'night.

I ran into the same thing, and had to diagnose it by looking at the site in
IE (which I only use out of desparation to check "safe" sites with broken
code). Id should use an entry page, not a popup, if it needs that sort of
thing.
