Hey All:

Just got moved out in the sticks and got the only thing with decent D/L
speeds. Satellite Internet. My only other option was dial up. Any luck
using this playing? Anyone playing Urban Terror in this group? Ping time
is a gruesome 500ms. Any advice is appreciated.

That's going to be true for most wireless links. Some have decent
bandwidth, but they'll all have pretty bad latency.

The download specs of Satellite may be good, but upload speeds are shot
and that what kills online gaming. That ping looks about right with
Satellite.

So that'd put your satellite about 45,000 miles up. Damn speed of light.
