NAT type question

Hi

I am going home over Christmas (I live and work away during the week). I
have ADSL in my weekday resisdence, connecting through a Vigor 2600 ADSL
modem/router, and spent most evenings playing SOF 2 etc.

I'll be taking my PC home with me and will be leaving it at my friends
house. He has broadband as well (cable).

We'd like to share the cable connection to we can both play SOF2 online (we
both legit copies of the game).

Unfortunately, my mate doesn't have a broadband router. His cable
connection goes (via the cable modem) directly into his PC's network card.
He does have a 4-port hub, but doesn't use this at the moment.

How can we both play online? I don't suppose I can use my Vigor (the WAN
input isn't RJ45). Is there any software which we could use, together with
the 4-port hub, to get both PCs sharing the connection? Some form of NAT
router type software?

The annoying thing is that I actually have a broadband router from when I
had cable (a Linksys BEFR41) but I loaned it to a friend who's juse gone on
holiday for a month! Bummer! That'll teach me!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Andrew Morgan
