What do you mean here?

I was in a game yesterday, when 8 players were abruptly 'kicked' (for
lack of a better word) from a PB server. I was one of them. Right in
the middle of a ctf game, I received a 'hunk malloc temp' memory
allocation failure. I assume that's what happened to the rest of them,
as I immediately reconnected but they didn't return...

This never used to happen, now it's all the time - even my brother had
it happen to him (and he doesn't play very often at all).

I remember with the 1.31 patch, it started happening to me, and I had to
get the latest nvidia drivers to resolve it. Now with whatever happened
to Q3/PB about 1 month ago, it happens to me, on multiple different
drivers. It doesn't appear to occur under Linux, however (but I get
choppiness, like disk caching or something).
