It's the Uber-Industrial-Political-Complex-Conspiracy-and-Takeaway-Squad, no
doubt.

Seriously though I am intrigued. There used to be a lot of folks coming
here just to ask "Where can I get a free pirate CD of Quake III?", and there
don't seem to be even that.

Hell, I got Q4 for Christmas and due to house renovations, my mother-in-law
getting injured and dying in-hospital (hint, she was 97, it's the UK and it
WASN'T because she broke her femur - and now it's been admitted that some
patients in the NHS are being called "bed hoggers" even if they're premature
babies!), and my waiting until this month to make Our New Machines (quiet,
big capacity, fast, and not server-size box-wise) that I have hesitated to
even install it. No time, really. I also got given the King Kong game and
haven't had a chance to run that either. Then my newsserver at
fairadsl.co.uk stopped working, and this week finally they announced they
wouldn't support news any more. So I paid 6 euros to X-Privat and got a
year's access to text and binaries.

So I'm a little surprised at the lack of activity here too. What are people
playing then? And why are Q3 servers still with us if the activity is so
low? Puzzling.
